Lycopersicon esculentum
This tomato is an old English variety that blossoms early and develops fruit on the lower part of the plant first. It is ideal for growing in the home garden, glasshouse and earlier in the planting season than some other varieties of tomatoes.

Planting Instructions
- Plant in sheltered, full sun, well drained soil
- Plant in different place to where previously grown tomatoes to reduce risk of diseases
- Dig in compost and plant 30cm apart
- Spray tomatoes with liquid copper to prevent fungal diseases
- Avoid overhead watering
- Stake if required
