Lemon balm makes a refreshing tea and its chopped leaves taste delicious in salads, stews and soups. It is sometimes known as garden balm, honey plant and sweet balm.

Planting Instructions

  • Grows to a height of 50cm
  • Plant in full sun in well-drained soil
  • Avoid overhead watering
  • Add a bit of lime and a general fertiliser to the soil before planting
  • Once planted, layer newspaper around your seedlings and cover the newspaper with peastraw to prevent it drying out between watering
