Lavandula angustifolia

Munstead lavender is commonly used as a border, bedding and dry flower.  This variety is also known as English lavender, true lavender or common lavender.

Planting Instructions

  • Grows to a height of 50cm
  • Plant in full sun in well-drained soil
  • Avoid overhead watering
  • Add a bit of lime and a general fertiliser to the soil before planting
  • Once planted, layer newspaper around your seedlings and cover the newspaper with peastraw to prevent it drying out between watering
