Apium graveolens rapaceum
Celeriac is sometimes known as turnip-rooted celery or stem celery. It can be used raw in salads, eaten as a cooked vegetable or as flavouring in soups and stews.
Planting Instructions
- Grow in deep, rich soil
- Plant 20-25cm apart in 5cm trench
- Keep well-watered and feed with liquid fertiliser weekly
- Harvest in 12 to 14 weeks when size of tennis ball
